The story begins long ago in a wild fruit forest in Xinjiang

这个故事要从很久以前新疆的一片野果林说起

This is the ancestor of modern cultivated apple - Xinjiang wild apple

这是现代栽培苹果的祖先——新疆野苹果

Local ancestors would pick and eat the fruit

本地的先民会采摘食用这些果子

At the same time they began to cultivate seeds and plant their own fruit trees
