It is said that Emperor Xuanzong of Tang and Yang Guifei often rested here. This palace, integrating the wisdom of water conservancy and ice storage, holds the life wisdom of ancient people.
相传唐玄宗与杨贵妃常在此休息,这座融水利与储冰智慧的宫殿藏着古人的生活智慧。

Sushan
酥山
Sushan is made by beating fresh milk until frothy, mixing in honey, then putting it in an ice cellar to freeze into a solid, small mountain shape.
酥山以鲜奶搅打起泡,拌入蜜糖后放入冰窖冻成小山样子的固体,自带冰碴的低温直透喉咙。
Its icy cold with little ice bits goes straight down your throat. In the Tang Dynasty, the royal family in Chang’an made fragrant, colorful Sushan. Later, it spread to ordinary people, who added almonds, walnuts and other ingredients. It’s a cool taste that has lasted for thousands of years.
